Longtime lurker just signed up:!:
Has anyone ever fished the new pond in darndale park?
understand it has carp & its fairly local to me.
its fairly littered with discarded hair rig & hook packs etc.
although I did find 2 free floats:lol!:
saw on one website that its stocked to 12lb?

Its stocked OK , with thanks to various public lakes from around
the country . I know of 2 locals who took a 10lb & 12lb from brothers
and put them in recently  . There is also a decent head of tench .

I might give it a try once this bad weather keeps up might scare the kids away lol.seems only 4ft deep at most Id guess? |

| As far as i know there was a car that was driven into the pond last night Scumbags.....Do not know the damage it has done at the moment until i go and have a look myself....

| Fishery board should remove the fish from the pond , they are under too
much threat . Unless they evolve to sustain a diet of rusty ford fiestas and engine oil ....

| tats a bit heavy isn it C*ck adoodle do if tis happend to the lough in cork would ye remove the fish:!: may be the council should put bollards up to prevent this in the future.

| Should put bollards up to prevent cars from entering the field for the sake of children playing and the fish .

| Good news lads just home didnt take any pics as there was thankfully no car to be seen or no tyre marks/tracks at all or burns on the grass etc.
there are bollards but they cant stop the dopes on the stolen mopeds acting the maggot. |
