| The fish kill is old news and mostly bullshit. one small strech of the Segre (approx 1km) was sprayed for Black fly and a few gobshites sprayed some areas close to the river and the insectiside used polluted gravel areas where fish were spawning, a couple of hundred fish died but thankfully it is just a drop in the ocean and has all been long sorted. wrists have been slapped. the whole thing was blown out of proportion due to the letter that fool wrote describing thousands of dead fish being taken away in trucks in a undercover goverment operation. fcuking alarmist. I have it on good authority all is well on the Ebro. GG. |

| Indeed Mr Magoo, these rumours have a way of snowballing and yes Colin Sid did mention the wonderful staff, including the hareem of senoritas that hand fed, washed and towel dried the group each morning prior to the fishing. excellent hosting I might add... GG. |

| well lads wat can i say about the ebro, a daunting river ,an awsome water with stunning scenery , we had it tuff the weather was v cold at nitetime as low as -4 which made the fishing v hard , fred had about 14 fish , nuthin very big though , although he did manage a 20lber, dave had 9 fish his best was 22lber, i had a lowly 3 fish out my biggest was 22lbs also, and to add to the weather problem we learned from a fishing guide that they had opened the damn the day before we arrived not good, besides the fishing i had a fantastic time, fished in some fantastic locations along the mighty ebro, also we fished the famous prominade swim at mequinenza, also had a brush with the baliffs, forgot my licence left it in me other pants , no fishing for al all in all had a great time i'd like to thank ebro dave for being a fantastic host and his knowledge of the river was really impressive, so even though the fish were'nt playing ,it was a very enjoyable trip... and i'll be back out there next year | |
