AUSTIN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
March 26 - 28, 2009

Fish for trophy carp on Lady Bird Lake

The 8th annual AUSTIN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP is a two person team format which takes place on Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) every year in Austin, TX.
The Austin Team Championship is one of the longest running carp fishing events in the U.S. and has a history of GREAT camaraderie while anglers competitively showcase their skills.
The ATC is a team-based tournament that lasts two days. The competitors fish a new peg each day, so there is a peg draw each morning. This tournament has been responsible for many 30+ lb fish, several 40's and countless personal bests by the competitors. There have also been captures of Smallmouth Buffalo exceeding 60 lbs!
