| i had a similarish one last year in England, granted, i had a shite swim, and once i moved i caught, but only 3 fish in the whole week, its kinda disheartening, but once you lick your wounds, and assess what you did wrong, and try to put them things right, then its more valuable then pullign fish after fish we all love catching, but its like fishing almoyeslton, you wont learn squat, but you`ll catch thats my positive spin on it anyway | |

| Sorry to hear the weather was against you AND there was an issue with the fish/water. It's a long while since I fished Margot but it is a nice water and I enjoyed fishing it.
I know I won't have to tell you this, but as there is obviously something wrong with the water at the moment could I ask everyone who fished the water last week to make sure everything that came in contact with the water - nets, unhooking mats, weigh slings, boots, even rods/reels/lines/hooklink/leads, are completey dried out, in sunshine, before you use them on any water back here? There's no way of knowing if the fungus is communicable but there's no point risking the health of our waters when there is an easy way to ensure they are completely disinfected. | |

| When we did a trip to their a few years ago there was a good few dead fish floating around also. I do remember a really large Mirror of 40+ also floating in the margin just a long the bank from the cabin towards the stocking ponds. Any Koi out? It's brilliant to see the 30lbers swimming around the margins near the island. Tom had a White and black one also, pic is in the Gallery. I'm shocked to hear no sturgeon came out unless they've gone to the keepnet in the sky also. | |
