Uploading pics to a post

I know i have asked this before but how exactly do i include a picture in a post. Every time that i have tried it has gone arseways.

Basically find the pic you want to post online (the picture has to be online i.e. you cant post a pic from your computer. If it's not online upload the pic into your gallery). Then right click on it - go into properties - copy the web addreess. looks like - http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif

Then click on the "insert image" button on the top of the text box (box which you write your post in)

type or paste the web address into here and it'll show up in your post.

Dont know what went wrong with you there? maybe one of the mods can check it out?

What I do is to open the we page the picture is on, left click your mouse on the photo, and select copy, and paste it into your post. Simple.

Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).
