Martin has had another 14lb 1oz common tonight.. Thank god he'll be coming happy... Great fishing at the end of the trip...

well, what can be said,
set up to a schorching sun on saturday, didnt hit fish until sunday morning. it was slow going at first but they were spawning for the first few days as we expected, we got 13 fish in total with 7 for Darren and 6 for myself.

Well done Martin.....I think thats the same Common that i had at 35lb??As far as i know there are 2 big Commons in there, Has the other big Common not being out yet.....

could be same fish lad, according to dan its an eating machine thats put on about 11 pound since entry less ta a year ago. bloody strong fish. the big one was out recently around 44lb

I had her too at 36lb 4oz three weeks back. Mug fish! lmao

just a muncher, bloody strong fish though, gave the 2.5tc a good bend

she came out at 40.4lbs yesterday on swim 10 again. not a bad week this week considering that there was only 3 anglers on. i had 9 fish the best 31lbs 32.8lbs 38.12lbs and a 44.8lbs. the guy on the island have about the same best a 31lbs grassie a 40.6lbs mirror. i`m off now for the next three weeks fishing so if anyone wants me i`ll be on my mobile.

That makes near 2.5lb in 2 weeks. tight lines dan, thanks for everything.

me to martin....only 4 my hand supports id hav never lifted it...my hands are straped up wit steel bars in the supports...their not compy but they stop my wrists from colapsing....

Just got round to putting in a few photos from swim 8.In my personnal file in gallery.

right just to catch up on the last few weeks. due to the world cup we
had very few anglers on the lake. but the fish did respond to the lack
of pressure and the few that did fish done better then i would have
expected them to do in a very hot june. there where two anglers on the lake the first week i was away, one blanked and tony had 5 to 42lbs. the second week there was only two anglers again and 11 fish between them and lost 13. the best was 44lbs and last week we had 5 anglers with 6 x 40`s caught, 4 of which where caught by one guy on the chalet swim 41.4lbs 44lbs 44.12lbs and a 46.3lbs. (i`ve not seen the photos yet so i don`t know which ones where which) des o connor from the site here was on peg 8 and had 12 fish to 25lbs. although the extreme heat drove him from his swim each day for a few hours.a German guy on swim 10 had 12 fish best where 34lbs 34lbs 41lbs and a 43.4lbs.
this week is going very well but i`ll give a report at the end of the week.
