10 hours battery life, download what movies you want, 9.7" widescreen, full HD, download books, and games. Ideal partner for a long cold winter session, anyone going to que to get one?

No on three counts
I wouldn't pay the money (even if I had a job)
I never buy the first version of ANYTHING electronic, I would be inclined to wait until they work out all the kinks (and there WILL be issues)
It's not rugged enough for any Carp anglers I know. I have brought a semi-ruggedised notebook with me in the past but that was a one-off
Like all apple products they are gorgeous and I would love to have one around the house but couldn't justify the expense. Having said that if I won the Lotto my house would be chock-full of Apple products
