| Hope its nice and bright......i thought the fox bivvy light was quite a good idea to begin with, you can set it to turn on when your alarms go off aswell but its nowhere near bright enough. Headtorches give me a headache too, so i'll be checking these out. Cheers | |

| Bought one last time they were in stock! very bright! and cause they are LED lights they run for a long time on 1 set of batts.
The halo light i rate top class! wouldnt want the light to be any brighter.... but only use it with my alarms at night. so handy! stops ya falling around your bivvy in the dark when ur alarms go off!!!!

| They look pretty good. Might get one for the trip to France. Halo light is too dim and is seriously hard on batteries. Think mine is the cheap crap one though. It defo doesn't come on when the alarms go off. | |

| Yea i think its the halo elite that you can set to go on when an alarm sounds....second time around you'd think they would've given it a brighter light setting. To it's credit tho, you can see the zip.....just! LOL | |

| And because it has a bulb its very hard on batteries. Got one session out of a set of batteries. Just 3 nights.
Dude, I find it very hard to read your posts without gettin distracted by that class avatar of yours. Its almost hypnotic.

| u must have an older version. Mine is the halo elite and runs on LEDS have it since start of this year and only put one set on size c's in. working fine;
I think the elite will only work with a certain set of Fox alarms. it works on the wireless signal it sends to the alarms receiver.
I've seen a version of what aldi are selling which actually works much the same as the fox halo. It will light up when it detects noise. so u leave it next to ur sound box/receiver and it lights when your alarms tear off......
