| I am trying to install XP on my hard drive and when I get to the part where I install the Keygen I get an invallid code message!
I have tried 4 sepperate gennuine keygens but cannot get any further.

| recently had a friend upgrade this from vista home to xp. used to hit select and go make a cuppa then come back and wait for page to load. now the button doesn't get to spring back up and the page is open. dont know what you asking about but i will ask him what to do | |

| I used CD ROM! to format the HD thed started to install from CD. All goes well till I get to the page to type in the Keygen, I then get the message The code you have installed is not a genuine version!

| where did you get the disc that you are trying to install snobber ???? Is it the one that came with the pc, I know that when you buy a dell pc you get your copy of windows with it and you then get that messsage if you try and install it on another type of pc. | |

| well if your using a keygen then i'd imagine that its not a genuine copy of xp....
microsoft have clamped down on the distribution of these none genuine copys, send me a pm if ya want any info on sorting this out.
if it is a geniune edition, u can ring microsoft support and they'll issue u with a activation code. | |

| It's a genuine OEM copy.
I have installed 2000 but I don't have the printer working as ir will not recognise the software | |

| well if it is an OEM copy, your code must have been used in the activation of a pirate copy, hence the code being blocked.
When the message comes up saying that the code could be non genuine there should be a number listed for you to ring and they would give you an activation code that would bypass this problem!
For your printer, if you give me the model i'll find you a driver for win 2k | |
