River High 30.

Big Wild solo trips now also operating from mid October, both well established and Pioneering Big Water options - pm for details.

myself and wayne just back from Raho Lake all i can say is awsome. Gorden did everything he could to make our trip highly enjoyable and the best to date for the boyh of us. hardest fighting french fish i have ever caught taking 50+ yards of line after hooking and fighting to the very end.. with over 50 runs in the week and 34 fish banked between the two of us.. biggest few being-

32lb 4oz, 31lb, 29lb 10oz, 29lb 8oz, 28lb 10oz, 28lb 8oz for Wayne.

34lb 10oz, 32lb 7oz, 29lb 8oz, 29lb 2oz, 29lb, for myself.

Most of the other fish being 20 + too many to list. This water should have alot of 30,s next year and i would highly recommend this water to anyone. its about a 25min drive from the airport with on site shower and toilet facilitys in a camping area in one of the night zones. Takes all the hassel out of driving over. Gorden himself had a few nice fish the biggest being 39lb, 34lb, 29lb, and many more.

Have to second all wat matt said a great trip! awsome fighting carp, i had 19 carp for the week with the runs at times been crazy!!!! the weather was great too low 30's every day so great right through the winter when it crap here. look forward to some more wild carp fishing in the near future.

Latest updates - Kevin, Mark and myself on one of the undisclosed Wild waters over 7 days - 10 fish banked between us with a couple of 30's thrown in.
Then onto the RAHO for 18 days split between two groups and myself. over 100 fish banked between us with sh*t loads of 30's and a few 40's to boot.

2012 Season beginning April to coincide with Aer Lingus Dublin/Perpignan route timetable. An extra flight has been added this year - from May, a Thursday flight along with the existing Tuesday and Saturday will be in operation.
Raho groups can also now avail of power/sanitary facilities in close proximity to the main nightzone at a very reasonable rate.
Big Wild options continue to expand giving you the chance to fish some very interesting waters throughout the south.

Big Wild checklist/reminder for spring 2012 trips.

Reels to be loaded with a minimum of 300 meters of a good quality 40lb plus braid (1500 yard Bulk spools of 50lb PowerPro recommended)
Big Gripper type leads in the 5/6oz range (take a dozen)
Snag leaders ie. Quicksilver, Ballistic, etc.. (couple of 20mtr spools 45lb)
Strong heavy gauge hooks
Tough Hooklength material 25lb
Abrasion resistant leaders/tubing.
H-Block markers (min 2)
Usual end tackle bits and bobs - clips/stops/tools/etc..

And remember -

Sunglasses
Sleeping bag
Alarms & swingers
Head torch
Sun cream
Insect repellent
Hat
Light Rain Jacket
Shorts
Crocs/Water footwear
Spare batteries
Passport photos for licenses
