| Inland Fisheries Ireland have a hotline that runs 24hours a day that you can ring and they will send a bailiff/waterkeeper/relevant authorities out A.S.A.P.
All anglers should have it in there phone.

1890347424 That number is a complete joke, along with the imbeciles who mans the phone, saw a polish fella in lanesboro, putting huge slabs in a tiny lidl keepnet, the fish were upside down in it, and there was lot of dead fish along the stretch because the venue is being hammered. I rang up on a sunday the chap didnt understand what a keepnet was, he said some one wud investigate my complaint, got a phonecall five days later from an officer saying he was only told thursday, shower of wasters. | |

| Can't get my head around people who want to harm fisheries and I personally worry about what I would do to someone if i caught them causing harm to one!! On the up side it's a lot Harder to net a lake then you would think, It's actually very difficult and take a lot of time and experience!! | |

| This is one of the times when I feel ashamed that I am of Polish. The only solution is very high penalties for this type of crime. When one pay a fine of at least 20 000 euros, the rest will be afraid to do it again | |

| I called the fisheries board a few week back about people killing fish on Inniscarra, within 1.5 hours they called down to me thanking me for letting them know and that they had got the lads putting the fish into their car, It's always worth giving them a ring just to let them know whats going on. They might not be able to get to you straight away but they can keep an eye on a place in future | |
