| that smells like bull to me Scott , erics angling are bulk box shifters and have nowt to do with product development which imo is essential . they buy huge quantitys at knock down prices which is great for the end user ie us buy not so good for the trade in general . selling loss leaders or bankrupt stock at knok down prices is an old supermarket trick . Iam not knocking Erics , i have had some very good service from them and have mostly found them to be helpfull on the phone but the best takle shop in the uk is the tacklebox in dartford . I think alot of lads here use erics because of the irish connection , i prefer either kent tackle or england angling for a bargain . Fosters have went out of their way to help out in the past too , they handled an insurance claim for a burgalry even though i wasnt making a purchase with them .
if you want rod sleeves or any luggage , that will last , is well speced and designed and that can be repaired by the maufacturer which will allow you to have back up even for obsolite product , i would look no further than cotswold aquarius ...... | |

| I hear ya Conrad. Think Eric's are going for world domination at this stage! Next on the list is a new carryall, Cotswolds is one of the choices. Angling Intelligence gear was up there too. Use any of their stuff? | |

| hi Scott , i have an aqua carryall and a cotswold one , the cotswold one is better but twice the price and its very light and well featured , the aqua is an older one and imo better than their newer stuff . the ai gear is pretty good and as the name suggests very well thought out , i have a stalking ruck a weigh sling , a couple of pouches and a brew bag . the ai gear is ok but very light i dont think it would stand the same abuse as the cotswold gear . I have a few pics of the pathfinder if you send your email addy i will post you a few . | |
