| Kewl, just wondering. Got 1 and 1 broken one, toying with the idea of two different reels or pick up a 2nd hand xte. They are ridiculously smooth | |

| wrong keitho , its not a b as they didnt make them in the 10k size. It IS an XTE the reels your talking about are 5000 , 6000 and 8000 GTE B the 10 k was a XTE 10K which has more bearings and a forged alloy spool . A few yrs ago shimano discontinued the xte and gte b and released the XTEA series which are better than the previous models , lighter with a better clutch and better line lay due to the slow oscillation of the spool .
the new big pit baitrunner is a revision of the old longcast but in both the popular 5500 size and 12-1400 size , it uses the same body casting as the d series front drag baitrunners with the bigger rotor and spool from the ultegra series . If any prospective buyers would like to hold off for another yr there will prob be a ci4 version as the ci4 thunnus is already on sale in the states | |

| sure is fella , you can just make out the 10,000 on the spool and body , which is the only way i could tell the difference . | |
