shimano xt-a medium longcast

i asked about this a while ago but not sure if anyone got them at that time.

with the pike season not long away and a few carp sessions due soon, I was thinking of grabbing 3 of these.

anyone any feedback.. or furthermore got somefor sale ? long shot

Erics have them with a free spare spool and best price around 149 GBP

You should pick them up a bit cheaper than that lads........

There is a lad on here that has only purchased a set of the bigger ones very happy with them indeed....

Hopefully ill get a few out end of August when i get out again.

Was looking at both sizes last week, they are very nice reels, very smooth clutches etc. as you would expect from shimano. The large reel is a bit of a beast and well heavy, it would certainly suit boating baits out long range as it holds a silly amount of line so this is the one for large overseas waters, I can't help but think it would be wasted on most of the lakes over here though.

I got a new set off the large ones 2 weeks ago there lighter that the orinagals and there very very smooth to play fish on top reel There as big as the old ones too
