| i asked about this a while ago but not sure if anyone got them at that time.
with the pike season not long away and a few carp sessions due soon, I was thinking of grabbing 3 of these.

| Was looking at both sizes last week, they are very nice reels, very smooth clutches etc. as you would expect from shimano. The large reel is a bit of a beast and well heavy, it would certainly suit boating baits out long range as it holds a silly amount of line so this is the one for large overseas waters, I can't help but think it would be wasted on most of the lakes over here though. http://www.tacklefanatics.co.uk/product/6881/shimano-medium-baitrunner-xt-a-long-cast-reel.html | |

| I got a new set off the large ones 2 weeks ago there lighter that the orinagals and there very very smooth to play fish on top reel There as big as the old ones too | |
