| Sorry to hear ,keep an eye on adverts etc . There is a seller on there that buys all high end stuff in the dublin and surrounding area that might be worth contacting in case it comes his way.Just to clarify I do not think he knowiningly buys stolen gear but is always looking for tackle so might be worth a go. Pm me if you want a link to his user profile | |

| Jesus conrad that is awful news. I will keep an eye and ear out for anything. Dirty scumbags check out any cash convertors you have locally and even further. I remember a story recently where a guy found his stuff had been sold on there in the uk. | |

| thanks lads , checked through it all yesterday , they've cleaned me out all bar a pair of reels which they missed and some end tackle , they got all the rods and reels , my carbon throwing stick all top notch gear that should stick out like a sore thumb wherever it goes eg my reubens were the saltwater hi viz orange ones with the nitelite stuck on the front .
i was targeted by anglers for fishing gear , they left other more portable and valuable objects in favour of fishing gear . i also believe they are local and or a members of a local club ............i advertised a load of stuff on their page recently and i think i have been turned over by one or more of the members . i would hope any of the lads around the country who know me or have bought or sold tackle with me would have the decency to let me know if they are offered any hooky or high end gear .........probably coming from the pike angling fraternity .
i am totally scundered , and my missus is climbing the funking walls

| the only rods that have numbers are the NGs the infinitys are one of a kind , stripped to bare carbon , alps reelseats , minima 4 s 50mm guides , full jap shrink handle made by Cotswold rods , the marker also from Cotswold is a one off , the hi-s are as new but they are the old 40mm build , the daiwa powermesh are at least 20 yrs old and the handles are chewed to Fcuk , the reels are all hens teeth ..........if the gear comes up for sale on any of the forums i should get to hear about it , what i would ask is for the lads to pay attention to what they see on the bank , like a kid from the north wearing a tracksuit fishing behind two grands worth of rods and reels ...........everything they nicked is pretty specialist and you will not find it in any irish angling shop . even some of the clothing they took was a bit on the rare side and either sized medium or 2xl .
please contact me if you see or hear anything relating to my stolen gear

| nah mate , no word yet , though I did find some evidence the burgler left behind which is now with cid ,
I wont be holding my breath , but if enough anglers know about it some of the gear may eventually appear on the banks , who knows ,
