Well done .. thats some fish cant wait to see a few photo's..

I think the irish carpers do well abroad because many of us spend the rest of the year "carp" fishing in many of our lakes that may not even contain carp.. lol!

That is unless you live near cork....

To be fair, we did our fair bit of pioneering with not a lot to show for it. Then we decided to go and fish the record water 4 miles away! scratch

No, nowhere near it. Maddocks new Lake was next door to us at Island lake.
