"20 K's of 18's and 20's will probably be the normal baits bought over by the masses of UK anglers, try something different, go for 12's or 24's at least a few K's to give you some options.
You can always put bait in, but never take it out - the best bit of advise IMHO

20kg Halibut pellets mixed sizes, 10kg maize and about 10kg of mixed size boilies is all i am going to bring in future to France.
Size 7's to 5's are well big enough. I would fish the end rigs u normally fish on the likesof Maynooth and Decoy, where larger fish are present.. Just step up your main line and enjoy.
Damo is right try different stuff, whats this i am agreeing with DAMO.... Shocked

Denis..................... Cool

Bring as much as you want but don't put it all in at once, you are usually only fishing for a fish at a time on a lot of lakes. PVA bags the method small fish traps should be tried first before you start putting in the bait.
If you start getting a few fish then try introducing a bit of bait just try not to over do it.
