| I found one of Gareth's older videos on Youtube which give you a full look at the cabin and facilities to expect which were the best I've seen in all my trips. Great spot. It even features Pat Mac's buddies at the 30 second mark of the video.

| fished it my first time in france on 2006 with paul c , natas and the rest of the lads had a ball had cats sturgeon and carp fished the swim in front of the cabin would love to go back some day best of lucy when ye go over watch out for the ducks they will sit on ur bait boat as its going out and eat all the bait in it!! just ask mick m. | |

| There might be trip back there next year Pat, we were talking about it today and we're going to look at an easier/more prolific water than Island Lake next year. Somewhere with 50's but with more 20's to get a bend in the rods. We'll book the lake out and see who's interested in coming. Handy facilities to make the trip more comfortable also. Also looking at flying over to Blavet Valley for a few short sessions. Aer Arann flying from Cork to Airport 30 mins away, just bring clothes and tackle box. Everything else is supplied. | |
