sorry a i`m a bit behind but i`ve been waiting for photos. report for three weeks ago as follows. this week we saw the return of Tobias , his brother and a few friends from Germany. Tobias is a Nash consultation and writes for 5 different mag`s, 4 German and one Dutch so as you can imagine we where happy to see him back as he wrote a smashing article for us last year in the leading German carp mag called mirror carp.
Anyway the four lads fished from swims 5 to 8 with mixed results. Klaus on swim 5 had 7 fish best 38.10lbs, 39.12lbs and a 43.10lbs, Max on swim 6 only had 3 fish to 35lbs which was a little bit different to Tobias on swim 7 had 34 fish to 48.4lbs, which included a lake record of number of 40`s caught by one angler which now stands at 6. best 30lbs 31lbs 31lbs 33lbs 40.12lbs 42lbs 42lbs 43lbs 45lbs 48.4lbs and finally Tobias`s brother Hendrik on swim 8 had 16 fish best 33lbs 36lbs 37.8lbs. i had 11 fish on the chalet swim best 34.2lbs 38.10lbs 39.14lbs 40.4lbs.

As you can imagine Tobias was quite happy with his week and has already booked 6 swims for next march.

No did not Glen, i feel strange sleeping in the chalet, i like to be beside the rods. i`m in swim 10 this week and it fished it`s head off the last two weeks so with a bit of luck it`ll keep up.

Wow them last few pics Dan that lad "Tobias" nailed it........a lot of big names in his catch report......top session Tobias.....

not really Jim i think they where going quite light on the bait. there was no one in swim 10 or 11 so the had the top end of the lake to themselves. the lilly`s where not up so they where able to fish all over the place.

Any news at all on trigger06 how he got on?

Well mike,it was a strange week over there.I had a flying start with a 29.3 mirror by 6 pm the first evening.then things slowed right down for a few days I had a another 21,the bottom end of the lake was quite full and the fish seemed to starting to spawn up in front of number 9.the chalet was empty so I move up there chasing the fishing but they stopped shortly after i had moved up,I done 2 nights there and only picked up the 1 fish a 19lb mirror.
So I moved back down to 8 as a few fish were been caught there,I had a pb common that evening of 27lb,the next morning I had I had only 1 rod in the water as I had 1 fish landed and before I had a chance to get that back out another rod was away and then another one went.so I landed my first brace of 20's(a 21 and 25).
The fish started really going at it again down infront of 8 with the spawning so out went a zig and I had a 38.6 mirror and in the last morning had a 34.6 mirror as my alarm clock followed by a 6lb common on a zig as I was packin up.it was 10 fish in total.had better weeks there but was happy enough to go home with a high 30

weekending the 16 of april,,this week we had 96 fish out for 2368.5lbs . 24 x doubles 47 x 20`s 19 x 30`s and 5 x 40`s to 45lbs average weight for the week was 24.10lbs.
i had 8 fish on swim 5 best 31lbs and a 35.6lbs. Dave and Joe on swim 8 had 66 runs and landed 44 of them best 33lbs 33lbs 34lbs 38.10lbs 43.5lbs. Ad Mooy on swim 1 had a good week also after a bit of a slow start he managed 15 fish best 35.4lbs 35.8lbs 36.5lbs and 38.15lbs. spence and lee on swim 10 also had a cracking week with 28 fish between them. Spence was on his second trip to brigueuil and thought he`d bring a friend to show him how it was done after he had a great trip last year in march but it came back to bite him in the arse, anyway Spence had 11 fish best 30lbs 33lbs 40lbs 43lbs the 40`s where both franks common. Lee also known as Spence`s young padawan gave his master a bit of a fright this week , using his apprentice light savers to pull out 15 fish best 30lbs grassie 30lbs 32lbs 37lbs 37.8lbs 38lbs 39lbs 40lbs and a 45lbs not bad for his first week in France
