| 12 of us hit briugille at the start of april. every swim gave up 30`s and i had a 42.14 mirror, best fish of the trip. Between us we had a few thousand pound of fish, I end up with 32 fish(including 9x20`s,3x30`s and the 42)total 626lb by myself! Next best fish were 39lb common(kev gerry),38.12 mirror (dave phelan)and plenty more like that from the rest of the crew.Al ot of PB`s were broken. A very good trip for us. | |

| Just back from la Fonte and had a great time with the usual roller coaster ride of emotions that go with it.
I am booked in for next year but i dont want to land bridge like last time and i was wondering
1- What ferry operator do use from Rosslare? 2- How long does the sail take 3- What is the usual day and time for departure from Rosslare? 4- What is the usual day and time for departure from Cherbourg?
Cheers RWMOL |

| Irish Ferries go from Rosslare,it takes 21 hour to Cherbourg and i think 18 hour for Rosscoff. The boat only goes to Rosscoff between May and September. It leave Rosslare at 16.00 and leave Cherbourg 18.00 French time. | |

| Cheers AJ,
How much would you expect to pay for a return with the cheapest cabin? |

| Do not under any circumstances go with the cheapest cabin Wildman. We got them going to Margot and they were a nightmare. It's about 45 degrees warm down there and you're situated right on the f**king engine. You can hear the pistons going all night which isn't the best for the mind when sleep is needed. About 10 double JD's got me though it but then again I wasn't driving on that trip. An extra 15/20 euro will get you a room at sea level at least. We went for the 'penthouse' ones a few weeks back, much better - en suite shower and jacks, and air conditioned. Those one's we had going to Margot give you some idea of what the Holocaust must have been like, just swap the Nazis for the Polish/Lithuanian crew and Hey Presto! Aufschwitz 1944. | |
