Island Lake Trip Vacancy April 2013

Due to one or two of our usual party of 8 dropping out of the trip we have a spot available for a weeks exclusive fishing on Island Lake for April 13th - 20th. We will be taking the Thursday night ferry (11th April) arriving in Cherbourg on Friday the 12th and take our time getting to the venue that evening. The return trip will depart Cherbourg on Saturday night the 20th and we will arrive back in Rosslare on Sunday evening the 21st.

This is probably our last trip to the venue as the price is increasing more and more every year but this is of course down to the quality of the fish in the water and it's gain in popularity. Any interested parties please note that this is not a runs water and can be difficult at times but the next run could be anything up to an 80lb fish which is pretty special in an 18 acre lake. Each swim has a cabin which has power outlets and a refrigerator with plenty room to store all the kit. These cannot be used to sleep in so a bivvy/shelter is needed. The average weight is in the high 40 bracket.
