Got back today after a week at the Island Lake.
We had a slow start but a couple of fish were landed early in the evening and early in the morning.
The last couple of days we noticed that the fish started feeding and after a week there were 20 fish landed.
Most fish came out swim 10/11 five in total weighing from 17kg up to 23,6kg
The smallest fish was 14kg and the heaviest was 26kg both came from swim 5/6
My swim was swim 1/2 we had 3 fish there a 20 and a 22kg mirror and a 24,7kg common.
Swim 3/4 had 3 mirrors weighing 16, 17 and 20,5kg
Swim 5/6 had 4 fish 2 mirrors weighing 18 and 22kg and 2 common weighing 23 and 24kg
Swim 12 had 3 fish from 17 up to 20kg all mirror
Swim 13 had 2 mirror weighing 19,8 and 21kg
A total of 20 beautiful carp and a fantastic week ,wishing the next group a very carpfull week.

| I noticed the carp were feeding more at the end of our week.
From thursday late there were more carp landed and the water got more and more cloudy.
So i hope for the guys at the lake that the carp are getting very hungry, hahaha.

| Nice bit of action Dave- plenty of lumps caught, better to post the weights in pounds and ounces though, thats what most of us still use, i am constantly tryin to convert them. Having said that, who will be the first irish carper to catch a 30kg ? Lol | |

| Niall did send the same message to me yesterday.
Strange though cause when i was there and at the end of my week the fish were feeding a lot.
5 fish were landed in the last night.
